A night in a desert camp in Merzouga is the moment many travellers remember most. The camp sits between the dunes of Erg Chebbi, away from the lights of the village.
You arrive by camel at sunset, share a tagine dinner, listen to drums by the fire and look at more stars than you have ever seen. In the morning you climb a dune for the sunrise.

From sunset to sunrise
Leave your big bags at the hotel and take a small backpack. We ride camels to camp in about one hour, settle in, then dinner and music. After sunrise and breakfast, the camels take you back.

Is it cold at night?
In winter nights can be close to zero, so bring warm layers. We give thick blankets.
Is there a toilet?
Yes, the camp has toilets. Luxury tents have a private bathroom.
Can I go by 4x4 instead of camel?
Yes, ask us and we take you to camp by 4×4.
