The route
This ride mixes soft sand and hard tracks. We cross the dark hamada plain, visit Khamlia for tea and Gnawa music, and finish over the high dunes.

Do I need a driving licence?
No licence is needed for a guided ride in the dunes. Drivers should be adults; passengers of all ages ride with an adult.
Is the 4 hour ride hard?
No, but it is longer. Basic practice helps. Your guide adapts speed and route to the group.
Can you pick me up?
Yes, we pick you up from your hotel or camp in Merzouga. Send us its name when you book.
What if the weather is bad?
On very windy days we change the time or the route, or move your trip to another day.
